What you will do

• Conduct pre-bind risk assessments, site surveys, and technical evaluations of energy and power risks.
• Develop sector-specific risk frameworks, including grading tools and EML methodologies.
• Provide risk improvement recommendations, loss reviews, and account service plans.
• Partner with underwriters on complex risk evaluation and deal support.
• Participate in client meetings, broker engagements, and technical presentations.
• Contribute to underwriting guidelines and emerging risk analysis in energy and construction sectors.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in energy, power, or oil & gas risk engineering.
• Degree in Engineering.
• Strong technical expertise in power generation, industrial energy systems, or infrastructure.
• Experience working with large, complex, or specialty accounts.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada.
