An independent renewable energy producer that develops, acquires, and operates hydroelectric, wind, and solar facilities globally.

What you will do

  • Operate hydroelectric power plants by conducting and documenting regular monitoring and maintenance.
  • Optimize plant output and production through targeted operational activities.
  • Execute preventative maintenance programs, including electrical and mechanical testing and repair of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system alarms to minimize downtime, including rotating on-call emergency duties.
  • Manage and assist specialized contractors and consultants performing repairs at the power plants.
  • Support regional shipping, receiving, and provide site preparation for training activities.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Pemberton, BC (On-site)
  • Relevant training and experience as a Journeyman industrial Millwright or Industrial Mechanic (Red Seal preferred).
  • Valid BC driver’s license in good standing (Class 1 is an asset).
  • Experience with 4-wheel drives and snowmobiles.
  • Ability to handle troubleshooting for industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and computer-based control applications.
