What you will do

• Prepare detailed electrical quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial, institutional, residential, and infrastructure projects.
• Support cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and benchmarking activities.
• Collaborate with senior consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients on project scope, pricing, and deliverables.
• Manage change orders and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop technical expertise in electrical systems and professional consulting practices through mentorship.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• Experience in electrical estimating or construction cost management within the construction or engineering industry.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Technical experience with core power and distribution systems such as switchgear, transformers, generators, and panels.
• Must be based in or near Toronto, Ontario or Montreal, Quebec.

Nice to have

• Exposure to lighting, fire alarm, security, communications, or other low-voltage systems.
