Location: Hybrid in Edinburgh (at least two days per week in office)
Salary: £78,098 - £91,880

What you will do
- Identify, shape, and deliver high-impact innovation initiatives that drive measurable commercial value.
- Monitor and interpret trends in emerging AI, including GenAI, automation, and agentic systems, to identify radical opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships across the UK startup ecosystem and hubs like FinTech Scotland.
- Lead initiatives end-to-end from ideation and rapid prototyping to scaled implementation.
- Develop data-driven recommendations with clear articulation of ROI, costs, and risks.
- Influence senior stakeholders and guide executive decision-making using evidence-based narratives.
Requirements
- Proven understanding of emerging AI and its practical application in business.
- Experience delivering initiatives end-to-end with a focus on measurable commercial outcomes.
- Ability to build financially robust, data-driven business recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience engaging with startups, accelerators, or external innovation partners.
Nice to have
- Existing connections within London and UK innovation ecosystems.
- Experience in financial services (banking, insurance, investments) or other regulated industries.
- Background in digital transformation or large-scale innovation programs.
