What you will do

• Identify, shape, and deliver high-impact innovation initiatives that drive measurable commercial value.
• Monitor and interpret trends in emerging AI, including GenAI, automation, and agentic systems, to identify radical opportunities.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships across the UK startup ecosystem and hubs like FinTech Scotland.
• Lead initiatives end-to-end from ideation and rapid prototyping to scaled implementation.
• Develop data-driven recommendations with clear articulation of ROI, costs, and risks.
• Influence senior stakeholders and guide executive decision-making using evidence-based narratives.

Requirements

• Proven understanding of emerging AI and its practical application in business.
• Experience delivering initiatives end-to-end with a focus on measurable commercial outcomes.
• Ability to build financially robust, data-driven business recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience engaging with startups, accelerators, or external innovation partners.

• Existing connections within London and UK innovation ecosystems.
• Experience in financial services (banking, insurance, investments) or other regulated industries.
• Background in digital transformation or large-scale innovation programs.
