What you will do

  • Conduct independent credit assessments, analyzing company information and market due diligence for sanctioning officials.
  • Liaise with originators, relationship managers, and clients to shape structured credit proposals.
  • Monitor and control credit exposures to maintain compliance with Group and regulatory policies.
  • Perform customer, sector, and market research, including sensitivity analysis of internal and external cash flow models.
  • Exercise formal Credit Authority Delegation to sanction transactions.
  • Maintain high-quality records for internal and external statutory reporting.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in credit risk and financial analysis.
  • Background in cashflow-based lending.
  • Proven track record of preparing credit papers for senior sanctioning officials.
  • Well-developed communication and influencing skills to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to deliver results under tight timescales and adapt to new challenges.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Leeds or Birmingham, UK (Hybrid)
