What you will do

• Analyze counterparty creditworthiness through financial statement review to recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Act as a business partner to the Front Office, communicating credit opinions and providing advisory support on credit issues.
• Monitor credit exposure and risk measures, proactively managing breaches and exceptions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with counterparty credit departments to maximize credit lines.
• Manage credit risk projects and coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver results within deadlines.
• Perform KYC assessments and maintain accurate credit and KYC data in the internal database.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in a credit role within an energy company, bank, or rating agency.
• Strong understanding of Credit Risk Management and KYC onboarding processes.
• Analytical skills with the ability to produce coherent arguments for credit proposals under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of energy markets (natural gas, power, oil, or LNG) or financial market products.
