What you will do

  • Implement and operate the risk management framework, focusing on the risk and control self-assessment process.
  • Partner with Finance and Wealth departments to embed risk practices in new products and features.
  • Manage and resolve risk events, partnering with teams to identify root causes and implement controls.
  • Conduct in-depth business reviews regarding technology adoption and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze operational risk data, including incidents and losses, to provide insights for oversight committees.
  • Promote and embed a strong, accessible risk culture throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience in a second-line-of-defense role within banking, financial services, or risk consultancy.
  • Must be based in the United Kingdom.
  • Knowledge of operational risk regulatory requirements and operational resilience.
  • Expertise in wealth/investment products and finance operational processes.
  • Proven experience providing challenge to first-line stakeholders and reporting to senior committees.
  • Ability to analyze complex risk data and work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
