Field Service Engineer

TL;DR

Field Service Engineer (Engineering): Installing, repairing, and maintaining Trace and X-Ray security equipment at customer sites with an accent on troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. Focus on ensuring high customer satisfaction, documenting maintenance work, and providing technical support for security screening technology.

Location: Must be based in the south of the Netherlands or Belgium and eligible for Dutch security clearance (sponsorship is not available)

What you will do

• Install, repair, and maintain X-Ray and Trace equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to ensure first-class customer satisfaction.
• Document all inspections, maintenance, and repair activities promptly.
• Manage the repair parts cycle, including ordering and installing parts efficiently.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and peers.
• Participate in site surveys, pilot programs, and special projects in collaboration with Product Managers.

Requirements

• Engineering qualification (MBO 4 level in electrical, mechanical, or electronics) or relevant experience.
• Experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Advanced English and Dutch skills (oral and written).
• Eligibility for Dutch security clearance; sponsorship is not available.
• Valid driving license.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software.
