What you will do

  • Monitor and optimize shopfloor operations, production lines, and machine performance (OEE, cycle times).
  • Identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Develop and update work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and SMED.
  • Standardize methods to reduce waste based on Lean principles.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and address non-conformities.

Requirements

  • Experience in industrial environments (production, methods, or continuous improvement).
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement tools: Kaizen, 5S, TPM.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, electromechanical, industrial, or production).
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Antwerp, Belgium.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Experience with industrial maintenance principles (preventive, corrective).
