What you will do

• Design and develop software for the next generation of underwater vehicles.
• Support and develop the existing codebase and products.
• Conduct practical skills development, design reviews, and document detailed designs.
• Implement code and perform testing from unit to integration levels.
• Collaborate with industry-leading engineers to build well-rounded software application skills.

Requirements

• Technical or scientific background with GCSE English & Maths at grade 4 or above.
• A-Level/HNC Level 3 qualification in Computer Science, Software/Electronics, or an Engineering discipline.
• Knowledge or strong interest in languages such as C, C++, JavaScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to effectively structure technical challenges and solutions.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the development of control software.
• Understanding of software design, architecture, and backend server structure.
• Knowledge of networking and standard web technologies.
• Foundational knowledge of product-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, and complexity analysis.
