Location: Must be based in Europe (including UK), with hybrid/onsite options in Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, and the UK. Priority given to candidates based in Belgium or Italy.

What you will do

• Define and develop computing architectures for AI accelerators.
• Analyze and optimize computational workloads for low power and high performance.
• Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to balance system requirements.
• Develop simulation and modeling tools to validate architectural designs.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in computing architecture or system design.
• Strong expertise in AI accelerator designs (NPUs or GPUs).
• Proficiency in Python or C++ programming.
• Deep understanding of state-of-the-art AI inference workloads and dataflow.
• Must be based in Europe (including UK) or willing to relocate to Italy or the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with modern IC design flow (architecture to GDSII).
• Experience with parallel programming models like CUDA.
• Experience with AI compilation frameworks such as MLIR or TVM.
