Senior Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; office-first hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the Shoreditch office, including Mondays.

Salary: £82,000–£96,000 annual salary, plus £70,000–£91,000 in stock options.

What you will do

• Lead design and research for a product squad consisting of a product manager and two engineers.
• Own product problems end to end, from rough concepts through prototypes and shipped experiences.
• Design mobile financial products that make complex credit accounts and rewards simple and enjoyable.
• Conduct user interviews, concept testing and usability sessions, applying insights to product decisions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from early sketches through delivery.
• Evolve the design system while balancing fast experimentation, consistency and visual polish.

Requirements

• Experience operating at a senior level with independent ownership of complex product problems.
• Experience shipping high-quality native mobile applications and treating mobile design as a distinct craft.
• Comfort working as a generalist across product design, research, content and copy.
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, layout, colour, spacing and hierarchy.
• Open, collaborative communication with members, product managers and engineers.
• Experience working quickly, measuring product impact and adapting the level of polish to the problem.
