Systems Verification Manager (Space Systems)

Location: Bremen, Germany; hybrid work and mobile work abroad are available.

What you will do

• Define end-to-end and satellite system verification concepts, plans, test matrices, specifications, methods, levels, and stages.
• Coordinate verification activities across missions, satellites, platforms, subsystems, and software, including the associated planning and deliverables.
• Support AIT planning, verification equipment definition, VCD development, and consistency with lower-level verification and validation plans.
• Define verification models and high-level tool concepts, including ATB, FlatSat, software facilities, simulators, and analytical tools.
• Control verification activities, delegate tasks where appropriate, and coordinate interfaces with ATB/FlatSat and AIT managers.
• Support project management with risk assessment, cost structures, overall planning, telecom system studies, and cost optimization of telecommunications platform products.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, physics, aerospace engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 10 years of experience in the space business, including proposals, Phase A/B studies, and Phase B2/C/D projects.
• Experience in verification engineering at mission, satellite, platform, and subsystem levels.
• Experience with space communication systems, especially telecommunications satellites.
• Strong self-motivation, technical judgment, and the ability to challenge baselines and implement corrective actions.
• Very good English communication skills required; German is an added value.
