What you will do

• Manage cost engineering activities from feasibility studies to implementation for subsystems and E2E systems.
• Provide costing expertise to project teams, validating inputs from internal departments and external suppliers.
• Coordinate the delivery of cost analyses for key customers including ESA, EC, DLR, and BW.
• Support cost optimization while ensuring technical, programmatic, and financial constraints are met.
• Review cost analyses according to internal policies and align with management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the definition of internal cost engineering processes, tools, templates, and in-house training.

Requirements

• Completed Master's or Diploma in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, or physics.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VBA, PowerQuery, PowerPivot, and PowerBI.
• English: C1 level (very good oral and written communication).
• Professional experience in the space sector.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Bremen, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience in the commercial space sector.
• Knowledge of SQL language.
• Background in System Engineering or Project Management (2+ years).
• Prior cost engineering experience.
• Proficiency in German.
• Security Clearance.
