What you will do

• Plan and coordinate work processes within the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) team to ensure compliance with regulations and company procedures.
• Manage resource allocation and staffing needs to meet project costs, schedules, and quality objectives.
• Provide professional and disciplinary leadership, including the evaluation, motivation, and development of team members.
• Contribute technically to one or more projects and support the bidding and proposal phases.
• Implement process improvements and monitor industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to AIT.
• Coordinate with project managers to resolve staffing inconsistencies and lead recruitment and onboarding activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in the space industry, specifically in satellite development.
• Proven experience in leading, motivating, and developing technical employees.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and decisive leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to work from Bremen, Germany (Hybrid setup).
