TL;DR

Location: Hybrid from Waltham, MA

Salary: $91,600 - $114,500 USD

What you will do

  • Coordinate upgrades across EKS, OKD, Calico, Gloo Mesh, and Istio to ensure compatibility.
  • Maintain AWS standard support tiers for EKS by tracking versions and planning upgrades proactively.
  • Execute monthly operational tasks, including SSL/TLS certificate rotations and ArgoCD updates.
  • Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and ancillary software using EKS and OKD.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and senior engineers to resolve AWS and Kubernetes issues.
  • Develop observability systems and suggest architectural improvements for daily operations and monitoring.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or System Administration.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Scripting proficiency in Bash and/or Python.
  • Familiarity with ArgoCD or similar GitOps tooling.
  • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting tools (dig, nslookup, tcpdump).
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Waltham, MA office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

  • Experience utilizing AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) to streamline work efficiencies.
