What you will do

• Act as a business partner for the global innovation team, providing financial modeling, investment appraisals, and business cases for new initiatives.
• Manage local FP&A activities, including the development of annual budgets, 5-year strategic plans, and quarterly forecasts.
• Oversee plant controlling by maintaining standard costing systems and analyzing manufacturing variances to improve margins.
• Develop and track KPIs to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the R&D portfolio.
• Support month-end closing processes, prepare monthly financial statements, and analyze variances between actuals and forecasts.
• Provide financial insights to the plant manager for capital project evaluation and cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• University master’s degree in finance.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a finance business environment.
• Prior experience as a plant controller or a strong working understanding of cost accounting concepts.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Cambridge, UK.
