What you will do

  • Act as the CTO's second-in-command, overseeing backend and ML teams and representing technical leadership.
  • Own end-to-end architecture and technical decision-making for all products and features.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach by writing code, shipping features, and prototyping functionality.
  • Translate business needs into technical results by leading small, focused teams.
  • Manage people operations, including hiring, offboarding, compensation, and resourcing.
  • Oversee infrastructure, operational administration, and cross-team alignment with C-level peers.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience (8+ years), including hands-on development and technical leadership/management roles.
  • Strong backend engineering background with proficiency in C#, Python, or Java.
  • Proven track record in people management and team leadership.
  • Ability to align technical goals with business objectives in a startup mindset.
  • Clear, structured communication and thinking skills.
  • Comfortability across the full spectrum of architecture, delivery, and infrastructure.
