What you will do

• Drive technical roadmaps aligned with product goals, incorporating new technologies and methodologies.
• Facilitate cross-team communications, manage dependencies, and resolve conflicts for seamless integration.
• Guide teams in designing scalable, secure, and observable systems meeting business needs.
• Champion experimentation, telemetry-driven development, automation, and standardization in deployment, testing, and operations.
• Own incident response, reliability practices, SLOs, and postmortems for systemic improvements.
• Coach and develop engineers and managers, fostering a culture of learning, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years in Software Engineering or related field with production software experience in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python (or equivalent education + experience)
• 2+ years people management experience
• Experience maintaining and delivering production software.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones (teams span Pacific to Central European time).

Nice to have

• Experience in software security, developer tools, or ML applied to source code with LLMs.
• Knowledge of compilers, program analysis, logic programming, or database query languages.
• Experience with CI/CD integrations like hirify.global Actions or Jenkins, and operating user-facing software at scale.
