What you will do
- Drive technical roadmaps aligned with product goals, incorporating new technologies and methodologies.
- Facilitate cross-team communications, manage dependencies, and resolve conflicts for seamless integration.
- Guide teams in designing scalable, secure, and observable systems meeting business needs.
- Champion experimentation, telemetry-driven development, automation, and standardization in deployment, testing, and operations.
- Own incident response, reliability practices, SLOs, and postmortems for systemic improvements.
- Coach and develop engineers and managers, fostering a culture of learning, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 6+ years in Software Engineering or related field with production software experience in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python (or equivalent education + experience)
- 2+ years people management experience
- Experience maintaining and delivering production software.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones (teams span Pacific to Central European time).
Nice to have
- Experience in software security, developer tools, or ML applied to source code with LLMs.
- Knowledge of compilers, program analysis, logic programming, or database query languages.
- Experience with CI/CD integrations like Actions or Jenkins, and operating user-facing software at scale.
