Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom; hybrid working. The role includes travel to police stations, courts, and incident sites.

What you will do
- Review and analyse prosecution evidence and conduct legal research.
- Draft witness statements, legal submissions, defence case statements, reports, and case bundles.
- Support clients through investigations and criminal proceedings from the initial incident to conclusion.
- Attend police station interviews under caution, trials, and inquests alongside Counsel.
- Liaise with courts, regulators, and expert witnesses.
- Visit incident sites and gather evidence for motor crime cases.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in motor crime or criminal law.
- NQ–1 PQE profile with 6–12 months of criminal experience preferred.
- Background in legal aid or criminal defence is highly desirable.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, communication, and client care skills.
- Resilience, composure under pressure, adaptability, and willingness to travel to police stations and courts.
