What you will do

• Review and analyze prosecution evidence to draft witness statements and legal submissions.
• Support clients through investigations and attend police station interviews under caution.
• Liaise with courts, regulators, and expert witnesses to build strong defense cases.
• Prepare defense case statements, reports, and bundles.
• Attend trials and inquests alongside Counsel.
• Conduct legal research and visit incident sites to gather evidence.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in motor crime or criminal law.
• NQ–1 PQE (with 6–12 months’ criminal experience).
• Background in legal aid or criminal defense is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel to police stations and courts.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and resilience under pressure.
