What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC multitasking machining centers, lathes, EDM, and manual machines.
• Perform complex G-code program edits to ensure precise production and on-time delivery.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and report non-conformance using handheld equipment and CMMs.
• Collaborate with co-workers and engineers to identify problems and implement technical solutions.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities, including Kaizen and SMED.
• Execute preventative maintenance procedures on equipment as prescribed by the maintenance group.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of trade school or industry-related coursework.
• Minimum 4 years of on-the-job experience in CNC machining.
• Ability to perform complex mathematical equations in a technical manner.
• Must be based in Australia.
