CNC Machinist (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC multitasking machining centers, CNC lathes, EDM equipment, manual machines, and secondary equipment.
• Work from factory orders, routings, technical drawings, process documents, and written or verbal instructions.
• Edit complex G-code programs and prepare materials, workholding, measuring equipment, and tooling for upcoming work orders.
• Inspect first pieces and completed work using handheld measuring equipment and CMMs, reporting non-conformances.
• Identify production issues, collaborate on solutions, and report equipment failures or process inconsistencies.
• Participate in Kaizen, SMED, lean manufacturing, preventative maintenance, and other continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of trade school or industry-related coursework.
• At least four years of on-the-job machining experience.
• Ability to perform simple to complex technical mathematical calculations.
• Ability to machine a wide range of materials, including stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, Monel, Hastelloy, nickel alloys, cast iron, carbon steel, and bronze.
