Operator/Maintainer - Mobile Mill (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Set up, operate and pack down the Mobile Mill and associated equipment.
• Prepare equipment and coordinate coil deliveries for production.
• Manufacture long-length steel roofing products at customer and construction sites.
• Perform production quality checks, routine maintenance and basic mechanical adjustments.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to keep projects moving.
• Work safely and build positive relationships with customers, builders and installers.

Requirements

• Experience in production, manufacturing or a similar hands-on environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic fitting or mechanical knowledge.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving and customer communication skills.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel across Australia.
• Ability to obtain police clearance and working with children clearance in all Australian states and territories. A current construction industry White Card and forklift licence, or willingness to obtain them, is required.

Nice to have

• Mechanical or electrical trade background.
