Operations Director

What you will do

• Lead strategic and operational planning with studio leadership and project leadership teams.
• Serve as the primary escalation point between the studio and central PlayStation functions (HR, IT, legal, infosec) to manage priorities and deliverables.
• Own and prioritize the studio leadership work backlog, including strategic initiatives and action items.
• Manage the rhythm of the business (ROB) and drive execution of strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Oversee studio IT functions and ensure alignment with PlayStation information security requirements and best practices.
• Build, mentor, and direct the Operations team; partner with HR on people and talent processes; maintain forecasts and operational budgets.

Requirements

• Demonstrated operations, management, and leadership experience managing teams of 75+ people.
• Proven project management skills, including building/maintaining backlogs, tracking, scheduling, and driving projects to completion.
• Experience navigating and managing contracts and external business relationships.
• Ability to make technical decisions on studio infrastructure in collaboration with engineering and IT teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including executive presentations and studio-wide communication.
• Experience leading teams in a hybrid work environment and working in the video game industry.

Salary: $204,000 - $307,000 USD (estimated base pay range)
