Senior NPI Test Engineer (High-Speed Mixed-Signal)

What you will do

• Architect test strategies for complex mixed-signal SiGe products from concept through production maturity.
• Lead test methodology development for high-speed SerDes, CDR, signal conditioning, and RF products operating above 200Gbps.
• Drive DFT and testability requirements into IC architecture and establish reusable test IP, libraries, frameworks, and company-wide standards.
• Support NPI architecture reviews, test readiness reviews, characterization planning, correlation, and customer quality discussions.
• Evaluate next-generation ATE platforms and measurement techniques, including AI/ML applications for yield enhancement and test optimization.
• Transfer test solutions to high-volume OSATs, monitor KPIs, reduce test costs and NPI cycle time, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency with the Advantest V93000 platform and SmarTest 7/8.
• Advanced programming skills in C, C++, Python, and TCL.
• Deep knowledge of high-speed signal integrity, jitter analysis, BER testing, analog/mixed-signal DFT, BIST, scan, and boundary scan.
• Proficiency in RF/microwave testing beyond 40GHz, statistical process control, quality methodologies, PCB design tools, and signal integrity simulation.
• Ability to influence cross-functional organizations, deliver complex projects on aggressive schedules, present to executives and customers, and manage strategic vendor relationships.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of semiconductor test experience focused on SerDes or high-speed I/O.
• Experience with SiGe BiCMOS, AEC-Q100, wafer-level testing, probe card design, and 93000 PS1600/PS3600 or Wave Scale RF.
• Experience with test data analytics and machine learning applications.
