What you will do

• Lead the complete documentation process from drafting and reviewing to execution and filing of ISDA, CSA, CDEA, GMRA, and GMSLA suites.
• Independently manage complex and sensitive negotiations for high-profile institutional clients.
• Review legal opinions on netting and collateral enforceability in coordination with external counsel.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies that balance client requirements with firm risk management.
• Collaborate with Franchise and Prime business groups to support trading relationships.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior team members while identifying opportunities to improve control processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or JD required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a legal or trading documentation role within a financial institution or law firm.
• Strong knowledge of legal entities including funds, insurance companies, and pensions.
• Proven ability to negotiate and review detailed legal documents with high accuracy.
• Strong commercial acumen regarding derivative, repo, and securities lending markets.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure.
