What you will do

• Lead complex negotiations with banking partners and financial institutions using AI-enabled workflows to manage legal and commercial risk.
• Support strategic partnerships with global technology and platform partners, ensuring robust fund and data flows across multiple jurisdictions.
• Design and implement scalable contracting processes, templates, and playbooks for banking and strategic partnerships.
• Champion the adoption of AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted contract review) to drive measurable improvements in speed and quality.
• Partner with Product, Risk, and Commercial teams on new product launches and regional expansions.
• Advise executives on risk-weighted options and trade-offs for high-value or strategically significant partnerships.

Requirements

• Must be based in Singapore.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience as a lawyer, including time at a top-tier law firm or in-house in fintech, payments, or banking.
• Qualified to practice law in a common law jurisdiction (e.g., Singapore, England & Wales, US, Australia).
• Deep experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and regulatory-sensitive agreements with financial partners.
• Proven experience managing strategic partnerships with large technology, platform, or ecosystem partners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence senior leaders in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with payments, issuing, embedded finance, or the regulatory frameworks of cross-border financial services.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled legal tools such as Harvey or Claude.
• Prior experience in a high-growth technology company or bank.
• Direct experience supporting stablecoin or digital asset rails.
