What you will do
- Analyze machine problems, gather relevant information, decide on an initial approach, and execute resolution steps or escalate when needed.
- Hand over problems to 2nd line support, and document/package all data required for problem resolution (e.g., reports, work orders, technical documentation).
- Perform repairs and standard service actions independently by using tools, replacing parts, and improving settings.
- Execute maintenance procedures within arranged customer machine time windows by ensuring required parts, tools, equipment, and knowledge are available at start.
- Train and advise users on corrective actions, routine maintenance, and recommended changes to user procedures.
- Identify gaps and improvement opportunities, report them to stakeholders, and share best practices within the work group while coaching less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- BSc degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., electrical technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the technical industry; semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
- Experience using computer applications including data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
- Complete knowledge of product functionality of the main modules/sub-modules.
