Senior Manager, Talent & Performance

Location: San Mateo, CA or New York, NY; hybrid work with two days per week in the designated location

Salary: $186,600–$279,800 USD base pay per year

What you will do

• Lead and continuously evolve Game Changers, the enterprise-wide performance management program supporting more than 10,000 employees globally.
• Design and implement performance frameworks covering goal alignment, continuous feedback, differentiation, values-driven development, calibration, talent reviews, succession planning, promotions, and career development.
• Assess business context, culture, organizational maturity, and readiness for change to shape scalable Talent & Performance recommendations.
• Translate strategy into execution across program governance, communications, enablement, technology adoption, and measurement.
• Influence senior leaders and align HRBPs, Rewards, Learning & Development, People Technology & Services, People Analytics, and business stakeholders.
• Optimize BetterWorks workflows, reporting, calibration, talent reviews, and emerging AI-assisted capabilities while using behavioral science and talent data to improve outcomes.

Requirements

• Deep Talent Management and Performance expertise with ownership of complex, enterprise-wide programs in a large, global, matrixed organization.
• Experience designing and executing performance management programs, including calibration, talent reviews, succession planning, promotions, and career development.
• Experience working across regions, functions, and senior stakeholder groups in globally complex organizations.
• Strong change leadership, organizational judgment, executive presence, communication, and influence without formal authority.
• Data literacy and experience using analytics, employee insights, external trends, and HR technology to improve talent outcomes.
• Commitment to equity, transparency, employee growth, and stronger individual and business performance.

Nice to have

• Experience with BetterWorks or comparable performance and talent platforms.
• Experience applying emerging technologies, including AI, to improve manager effectiveness, employee experience, decision quality, and program scalability.
