What you will do

• Design and evolve complex, highly available services, including system design (LLD), API design, and data modeling.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of technical solutions from requirements analysis through deployment and support.
• Drive technical direction by evaluating tradeoffs and decomposing large problems into executable work.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver reusable and extensible features.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve outcomes in real-world products.
• Promote engineering excellence through automation, observability, and incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in software development.
• Proven ownership of complex services or multi-service systems.
• Strong skills in system design, API design, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems and applying AI/ML concepts to production services.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify participant).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
• Experience building scalable distributed systems on AWS.
• Knowledge of event-driven systems (Kafka, Kinesis) and distributed caching (Redis, Couchbase).
• Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and defining SLAs/SLOs.
