What you will do

• Design and maintain a high-performance Python SDK to provide a seamless one-line-to-insight experience for customers.
• Establish a public schema registry (Protobuf/Avro) to standardize data models across internal and external services.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, tutorials, and code samples to accelerate customer time-to-value.
• Conduct technical audits of existing API fragmentation and define a hybrid versioning model for long-term stability.
• Collaborate with central technology teams to normalize authentication and implement group-wide telemetry tracking.
• Manage the full API lifecycle, including GitHub governance and CI/CD pipelines for public distribution.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Belfast, UK.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python with a focus on writing clean, idiomatic code for public SDKs.
• Strong experience in cloud-native development, specifically within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deep understanding of API design, protocols (REST, WebSockets), and data serialization formats.
• Proven ability to bridge business strategy, engineering, and technical writing.
• Genuine interest in capital markets and the mechanics of trading data.
