What you will do

• Develop innovative products and features in close collaboration with business development and sales teams.
• Design and build highly reliable, testable Python systems to support trading operations.
• Contribute to complex projects, including requirement analysis and feature implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across Europe and the United States.
• Participate in R&D projects to identify and implement new technologies.
• Provide operational support for trading systems, including incident response and post-mortem analysis.

Requirements

• Must be based in London, UK
• Solid Python knowledge and commitment to writing testable, maintainable code.
• Strong understanding of SQL and ability to compose complex queries.
• Basic Linux knowledge and solid grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with TDD, BDD, or other testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and event streaming platforms like Apache Kafka.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with data pipeline platforms like Apache Airflow and Java.
