What you will do

• Design and build scalable data quality frameworks and validation systems for enterprise-scale financial data.
• Own services end-to-end, from architecture and implementation through deployment and operational support.
• Develop tools and interfaces to enable operations teams to identify and resolve data issues efficiently.
• Design and deploy resilient, scalable cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.
• Use pySpark and Databricks to build, validate, and monitor data pipelines.

Requirements

• Extensive professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Experience with SQL and database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL like DynamoDB).
• Proven experience building and operating distributed systems and processing data at scale.
• Experience writing Infrastructure as Code and deploying cloud-native infrastructure on AWS.
• Right to work in the UK is mandatory (no visa sponsorship provided).

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
