What you will do
- Design and build scalable data quality frameworks and validation systems for enterprise-scale financial data.
- Own services end-to-end, from architecture and implementation through deployment and operational support.
- Develop tools and interfaces to enable operations teams to identify and resolve data issues efficiently.
- Design and deploy resilient, scalable cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.
- Use pySpark and Databricks to build, validate, and monitor data pipelines.
Requirements
- Extensive professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience with SQL and database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL like DynamoDB).
- Proven experience building and operating distributed systems and processing data at scale.
- Experience writing Infrastructure as Code and deploying cloud-native infrastructure on AWS.
- Right to work in the UK is mandatory (no visa sponsorship provided).
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
