What you will do

• Conduct security assessments of embedded systems, hardware designs, and software integrations.
• Build tooling and frameworks to support a secure design and development lifecycle.
• Design technical solutions to mitigate security risks across the product stack.
• Perform hardware reverse engineering and hunt for security weaknesses in embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security and privacy best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Jose, CA and able to work 5 days/week in-office.
• 3+ years of experience in application or hardware security.
• Strong electrical engineering skills with the ability to reverse engineer hardware interfaces and protocols.
• Solid foundation in low-level software security, specifically C/C++ and compilers.
• Experience in embedded security domains such as firmware security, cryptography, and micro-controller security.
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
