Systems Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role with approximately 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $110,500–$152,000 per year

What you will do

• Support systems engineering projects combining electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithm, and software design.
• Contribute to system engineering specifications and document requirements within the area of technical expertise.
• Plan and coordinate testing, providing feedback to product engineering, physics, algorithms, and software teams.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues related to serviceability, manufacturability, and system performance.
• Support system integration during assembly and final testing of new product designs.
• Define external equipment interfaces and contribute to systems architecture development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Ability to analyze system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and subsystem integration.
• Ability to evaluate hardware and software designs for reliability, safety, usability, and maintainability.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California, with approximately 10% travel.
