IT Support Specialist

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to commute daily to Playa Vista, California

Salary: $45.48 — $68.22 per hour

What you will do

• Provide helpdesk-level coverage and diagnose technical issues for internal clients.
• Resolve problems involving desktop, laptop, and network services for local and remote personnel.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines.
• Perform first and second-level troubleshooting for workstation and mobile systems.
• Manage inventory, workstation builds, and user account provisioning.
• Participate in a scheduled, week-long off-hours on-call rotation for system maintenance.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite daily in Playa Vista, California.
• Strong experience in client hardware, software, and email/messaging troubleshooting.
• Mid to advanced-level understanding of Windows OS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and production software like Adobe, Maya, or Visual Studio.
• Ability to communicate complex system concepts to both end users and technical teams.
• Experience managing competing demands across multiple concurrent projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux and Mac OS.
• Familiarity with enterprise storage technologies (SAN, NAS, iSCSI) such as NetApp or EMC.
• Basic networking skills and knowledge of security best practices.
• Passion for or experience in the video gaming industry.
