Manufacturing Engineer

TL;DR

Manufacturing Engineer: Driving end-to-end capital project execution and manufacturing system integration for foundry and machining operations with an accent on safety, quality, velocity, and cost. Focus on designing process flows and KPI’s, implementing NPI/NSI/NCI controls, and building manufacturing standards (PFMEA, Control Plans, Safe Job Procedures) while coordinating equipment, automation controls, robotics, and PLC-based systems.

Salary: $131,872 - $146,290 per year

What you will do

• Utilize NCI Process Flow to determine KPI’s for new capital projects from concept to completion.
• Launch and manage large-scale capital investments to improve safety, quality, velocity, and cost.
• Coordinate purchase and application of foundry equipment, machine tools, automation controls, robotics, and related systems.
• Design jigs and fixtures and develop manufacturing layouts using lean manufacturing principles.
• Create and administer manufacturing standards and documentation (Standard Work, Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, Safe Job Procedures, SFMEA).
• Integrate manufacturing systems (factory control software, scheduling, simulation) and provide technical support in process control and internal certification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Foundry Engineering, or related field.
• 6 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in the foundry and machining industry (or related occupation).
• Experience with AutoCAD/Creo, GD&T print reading, cycle time and capacity planning, advanced product quality planning, and Microsoft Project.
• Must work onsite five days a week.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
