What you will do

• Build and manage a strategic vendor base for prioritized product categories.
• Evaluate vendor viability regarding production capacity, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive product line transitions from initial sourcing through sampling and laboratory testing.
• Establish second-source suppliers to ensure supply continuity without compromising product specifications.
• Identify new product opportunities to enhance the existing retail mix.
• Collaborate with merchandising, quality, and packaging teams to serve enterprise objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant buying experience in retail or 5+ years in project management/product development.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Demonstrated ability to drive product implementation and strategy in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in analyzing sales data and supplier proposals.
• Ability to travel overseas 40-60% of the time.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in staff supervision and development.
