Shop Maintenance Technician II (Agricultural Equipment)

Location: Paterson, Washington, USA (Farm); onsite role

Pay rate: $32.20 per hour

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair tractors, trucks, and heavy farm equipment.
• Perform engine overhauls, transmission and differential repairs, and electrical and hydraulic system troubleshooting.
• Maintain equipment records and complete maintenance reports.
• Prioritize multiple repair tasks and projects according to operational needs.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, especially during critical periods of the farming season.
• Collaborate with the team, share technical knowledge, and follow company safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an agricultural maintenance shop environment is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing tractors, trucks, and heavy equipment.
• Welding and fabrication skills, including field repairs.
• Basic computer skills, ability to read schematics, and familiarity with diagnostic programming.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must pass the company Motor Vehicle Requirement check and meet hirify.global driving policy requirements. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work under equipment and at heights, and operate in demanding indoor and outdoor farm environments is required.
