What you will do

• Lead end-to-end research including user interviews, usability testing, focus groups, and mixed-methods studies.
• Define research strategy, choosing the right methodologies to mitigate risk and inform product decisions.
• Build and refine AI agents to automate research planning, data synthesis, and reporting.
• Establish research standards, templates, and best practices to scale the team's output.
• Analyze behavioral data and call transcripts to surface trends that shape the product roadmap.
• Travel to partner schools for in-person field research and stakeholder interviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an applied research setting (product, UX, or academic).
• Hands-on expertise with the full range of research methods and study design.
• Strong proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
• Must be based in the US and willing to travel for field research.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to influence executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in HCI, Psychology, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience using AI tools like Claude Code for research automation.
• Proficiency with Pendo and other product-analytics platforms.
• Background in EdTech or multi-stakeholder domains.
