What you will do

• Own the end-to-end technical architecture and delivery of hirify.global’s Agentic Database.
• Lead the development of critical Agent Services including Semantic Context Layer, Agent Memory, LLM Cache, and Agent Tracer.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a senior engineering organization specializing in serverless databases and vector retrieval.
• Partner with Product Management to translate PRDs into a phased engineering roadmap for a 2026 early-access launch.
• Integrate the Agentic Database with hirify.global Fabric, Context Engine, and the Enterprise MCP/AgentStack platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• 20+ years of engineering experience, with 10+ years leading senior teams building production data systems at enterprise scale.
• Deep expertise in relational database internals, including query optimizer design, storage engines, and transaction processing.
• Hands-on experience extending production OLTP engines (Postgres, MySQL) and proficiency with pgvector and HNSW.
• Strong command of distributed systems fundamentals, consensus protocols, replication, and CDC pipelines.
• Production experience with vector retrieval systems and agent orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen.

Nice to have

• Prior experience at a database startup or as a founding senior engineering leader of a data infrastructure product.
• Background in enterprise data warehousing, OLAP systems, or hybrid OLTP/OLAP architectures.
• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science.
