TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Fintech): Leading outbound demand generation efforts and scheduling conversations with prospects to drive growth for a compliance SaaS platform. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York, NY or Washington, DC

Salary: $45,000–$60,000 base; OTE $60,000–$75,000

What you will do

  • Uncover potential opportunities by initiating conversations and setting meetings with prospective buyers.
  • Execute outbound calling and emailing campaigns to compliance professionals within a designated territory.
  • Partner with account executives to generate and qualify sales opportunities.
  • Develop deep expertise in prospect needs and the company software portfolio.
  • Track and forecast all sales activities using Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Represent the brand with integrity in all internal and external communications.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, high-growth company environment.
  • Strong desire to learn and succeed in outbound tech sales.
  • Ability to write succinct, thoughtful, and personalized emails.
  • High level of organization and self-motivation.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in SaaS sales.
  • Customer-facing experience in retail or hospitality.
