Enterprise Architect: AI

Location: Hybrid in Thousand Oaks, San Diego, Chicago, Princeton, Boston, New York, Atlanta, or Evanston, United States; on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices is required for the majority of the week.

Salary: $215,000–$227,500 per year

What you will do

• Design robust, scalable enterprise solutions aligned with industry standards and client needs.
• Lead agentic AI architecture and delivery across data, applications, and business processes.
• Define reference architectures covering orchestration, tool calling, routing, memory, state, guardrails, security, and compliance.
• Partner with engineering teams to productionize AI systems with evaluation, observability, human-in-the-loop controls, and safe deployment.
• Develop reusable architecture assets, patterns, components, and delivery playbooks.
• Facilitate client and internal architecture sessions, shape roadmaps, mentor team members, and support business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience designing enterprise-scale semantic or solution architectures.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI, multi-agent systems, orchestration, tool integration, and workflow automation.
• Experience delivering production-ready GenAI/LLM architectures, including RAG, prompt and policy design, evaluation, scalability, and risk controls.
• Ability to translate business problems into solution designs and guide delivery from concept through deployment.
• Fluency in English, strong client communication, stakeholder management, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud strategy, IT transformation, or application portfolio assessment.
• Experience evaluating technology platforms and developing implementation or adoption points of view.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and short release cycles.
