What you will do

• Manage mechanical, electrical, and process/utilities infrastructure to maximize system uptime and equipment reliability.
• Act as the principal technical authority for capital projects from conceptual design through construction and commissioning.
• Lead structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure analysis for equipment issues.
• Own the sequence of operations and functional requirements for Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Develop maintenance strategies, risk assessments, and critical spares management for the full asset lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal research customers and external facility management providers to ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant infrastructure design or operation experience in high-tech, industrial, or life sciences manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a large, multi-functional campus environment.
• Proficiency in BAS and CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Siemens).
• Expertise in industry standards such as ANSI/ASHRAE, NEMA, NFPA, and OSHA.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex mechanical and electrical systems.
