TL;DR

Director, Strategic Account Management (Logistics): Leading the team responsible for highest growth and most complex strategic customers with an accent on commercial strategy and operations execution. Focus on architecting account health frameworks, cultivating C-suite relationships, and driving organic growth within the 3PL portfolio.

What you will do

  • Design and implement the strategic framework for retention and value delivery for top-tier strategic accounts.
  • Establish a formalized Account Health review framework to align Commercial and Operations organizations.
  • Act as the executive face of hirify.global, cultivating deep relationships with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.
  • Hire, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Strategic Account Managers (SAMs).
  • Oversee contract pricing strategies, renewal pipelines, and CRM hygiene within Salesforce.
  • Serve as the ultimate escalation point for critical account health issues, translating data into strategic wins.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, or logistics management with Enterprise-level accounts.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience building and scaling commercial teams.
  • Demonstrated experience building cross-functional operational governance models.
  • Exceptional executive presence with polished negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical acumen to translate complex supply chain data into strategic decisions.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Chicago, IL or Rogers, AR

Nice to have

  • Experience designing solutions for bundled logistics services (Managed Transportation, Dedicated, Brokerage, TMS).
  • Deep familiarity with advanced Salesforce CRM strategies and data visualization tools.
