Salary: $209,000 - $245,000 USD (Base Pay)

What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of agentic AI systems for intelligent customer experiences.
• Define technical directions for evaluating autonomous agents, focusing on reasoning, planning, tool selection, and memory.
• Build scalable evaluation frameworks using automated evals, benchmark datasets, and LLM-as-a-Judge techniques.
• Optimize model selection across frontier foundation models, fine-tuned models, and RAG systems.
• Partner with Product and Data Science to establish launch criteria and measurable success metrics for production systems.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for building reliable, production-ready agentic AI.

Requirements

• Significant experience deploying production AI systems using LLMs, autonomous agents, or multi-step reasoning workflows.
• Deep understanding of agent architectures, including tool calling, planning, memory, and RAG.
• Experience designing evaluation frameworks, human evaluation pipelines, and continuous quality measurement.
• Strong software engineering skills for building scalable distributed systems and production ML infrastructure.
• Proven technical leadership through architecture design and mentorship across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent frameworks, AI observability platforms, or model evaluation tooling.
• Experience with regulated AI applications.
