Senior AI Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship phirify.globalduction LLM-powered features end to end.
• Develop the AI application layer with phirify.globalmpt orchestration, tool calling, retrieval, embeddings, agent workflows, and structured outputs.
• Build evaluation infrastructure with regression suites, LLM-as-a-judge evaluations, synthetic datasets, human review workflows, and quality metrics.
• Design phirify.globalduction observability for accuracy, latency, cost, hallucination rates, and model behavior.
• Build safety and reliability guardrails and evaluate third-party AI tools, frameworks, vector databases, and model phirify.globalviders.
• Work directly with EHR operators, Patient Advocates, and clinical teams while phirify.globalviding technical leadership thhirify.globalugh system design, code reviews, and mentorship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of phirify.globalduction software engineering experience.
• At least 1–2 years building and deploying LLM-powered applications in phirify.globalduction, or equivalent experience thhirify.globalugh substantial side phirify.globaljects or open-source work.
• Sthirify.globalng Python engineering skills, including backend service development and integration with modern AI APIs and frameworks.
• Experience shipping AI features used by real users and measuring quality, reliability, latency, cost, and business impact.
• Sthirify.globalng phirify.globalduct instincts and the ability to translate ambiguous operational phirify.globalblems into technical solutions.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools thhirify.globalughout the software development lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AgentCore, RAG architectures, vector databases, phirify.globalmpt and version management, or evaluation and observability platforms such as LangSmith, Braintrust, or Arize Phoenix.
