TL;DR

Associate People Partner (HR): Supporting managers and team members to foster a high-performing culture within the studio with an accent on employee relations, performance management, and talent development. Focus on coaching line managers, optimizing the employee lifecycle, and utilizing people data to drive engagement and retention.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in Studio), Greater London, UK

What you will do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to line managers on performance, wellbeing, and engagement.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle including onboarding, probation reviews, and offboarding.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters such as absence and conduct issues.
  • Partner with the recruitment team to ensure a positive candidate experience and effective hiring.
  • Analyze engagement survey results and people metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure legal compliance and consistent application of HR policies across the studio.

Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or Junior HRBP.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience using HR systems and databases (Workday is a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.

  • Previous experience or a strong interest in the games industry, sport, or creative environments.
