Salary: $82,300 - $220,000

What you will do

• Lead the development of system concepts, requirements, and architectures for strategic defense, hypersonic, and space systems.
• Utilize MBSE and digital engineering techniques to manage requirements within a digital ecosystem of design artifacts.
• Develop simulation and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) platforms for proof of concept, design development, and prototyping.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to manage requirements and interface designs for strategic sensors and navigation systems.
• Identify program-level technical risks and develop and execute effective mitigation strategies.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and lead small teams to align with program goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 5-10 years of experience in systems engineering with a strong emphasis on requirements engineering.
• Practical experience with the systems engineering process and familiarity with MBSE or digital engineering tools.
• Proficiency with SysML, DOORS, and other engineering analysis tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Ability to support on-site consistently in Cambridge, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with MagicDraw, MATLAB/Simulink, or Python.
• Knowledge of GN&C, avionics architectures, fault tolerance, or cyber security.
• Expertise with the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook or DoDAF.
• Experience integrating descriptive modeling tools with simulation tools.
