What you will do

• Analyze direct loan origination and loan participation opportunities within the healthcare sector.
• Develop financial projections and conduct sensitivity analyses to assess repayment capacity under various scenarios.
• Perform comprehensive financial due diligence on target companies.
• Prepare and present loan investment screening memos and approval write-ups for the bank's credit committee.
• Coordinate loan closings with Portfolio Management and Operations teams.
• Monitor the financial performance of the loan portfolio and prepare update memorandums.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in audit, credit analysis, investment banking, M&A transaction services, or underwriting.
• Strong financial statement analysis skills and a firm grasp of accounting and finance matters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid office setting in Chevy Chase, MD.
