What you will do

• Analyze credit data to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
• Make decisions to approve or deny credit extensions within set authority and legal requirements.
• Develop and maintain dealer relationships to ensure volume objectives and credit quality.
• Capture automotive finance contracts that meet profitability criteria for pricing and performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to maximize operational efficiency.
• Manage queues, perform outbound telemarketing, and conduct joint dealer calls.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in underwriting or sales within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of consumer finance, banking, and indirect retail auto financing.
• Understanding of State and Federal regulatory requirements and credit laws.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Must not require visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
